Suppose you were an idiot, and suppose you were a member of Congress; but I repeat myself - Mark Twain

[COMMENT]Ok now we just let 5 terrorists go. Do you think it will have no effect on our national security? I hope everyone out in the world who voted for this president knows that after he is long gone and all the books come out, and all the analysis begins in a huge way, that you, sitting there silent and doing nothing, know that this will come back to bite you. This is really scary to me that half of this country can just sit there and not say anything and let this president just trash this country and act like the constitution is optional. When it's all over and done with, you the Obama voter will not be able to just go on with your life. Real Conservatives are all about accountability, and all that is going on today will never be forgotten. I think it's shameful that people stay silent. History shows people that were silent, resulted in untold horrors. If you voted for this president and you're just gonna ride it out for two more years, fine. But it will not be forgotten, I assure you.

Local radio station to repeat D-Day broadcast on this 70th Anniversary
WCOR AM 1490 in Lebanon, TN owner Susie James said her stepfather, Bill Barry, purchased the radio program 20 years ago to air for D-Day’s 50th anniversary on the WAMB radio station in Nashville. “When it aired in 1994, he said WAMB was the only station in the country that he was aware of that was running the broadcast,” she said.

So much for the FCC's revitalization plans. KCAA San Bernadino owner Fred Lundgren blogs in the Huffington Post that AM Radio faces a dismal future and pleads for the FCC to get involved. "Most AM broadcasters know they are doomed," Lundgren writes, "but they won't stand up and insist on action because they don't want to get on the radar screen of the FCC. I will not sit quietly and meekly and accept the slow and certain demise of AM radio while the FCC does nothing with dozens of FM frequencies below 87.5 FM that should provide AM stations with a new home."

*You know it's funny, most everywhere I go I get huge static, even at home and then many stations turn down their transmitters at night. I'm about 30 miles east of downtown LA and the reception can be crappy. Putting all AM stations on FM would be soo cool. I hope that happens.
